SevereStudios to be featured on The Weather Channel
Kory and Kenny will appear in an episode of a new series on The Weather Channel this fall. The episode will revolve around South Dakota weather, and will highlight how South Dakota's climate is unique.

On August 27th, we spent the whole day with TWC's crew... they actually tagged along during a "real" chase as we drove north toward Watertown, SD hoping by some miracle the cap would break... it didn't. However, they will be using some of our archive footage from past years to fill the segment.

The crew was very nice and the episode will air starting December 3rd.

New SevereStudios Logo
After months of redesign, the new SevereStudios logo is complete (it took three professional designers to get it just right).

We hope it will help identify our site and our mission more effectively than our old logo. We have kept the same font, but have dumped our old tornado for a new abstract design.

We introduced our logo to the public for the first time on Monday, August 27th during our Weather Channel video shoot. We had new hats and shirts made for the event. Below is a quick picture of the embroidery that is on our brand new hats and shirts.
