This year we are offering a 7-day archive playback of ChaserCon Live for the convenience of our busy viewers and those who live around the world!

ChaserCon 2010 takes place February 12-14 and is a unique opportunity to see some of the leading weather experts present some diverse and exciting topics. Presentations will cover severe weather research and forecasting, a review of the VORTEX2 project, as well as recaps of the 2009 tornado season. The Keynote presentation is by Dr. Greg Forbes of The Weather Channel.

Not Just a "Camera in the Back of the Room"

Our live webcast is NOT one camera in the back of the room with bad sound. We will be producing a professional multi-camera broadcast with video switcher, on-screen graphics, direct link to the presenter's PowerPoint slides for full-screen view, and direct patch into "house" audio.

Q: How do I sign up?

Q: What is the cost and payment option?

Q: Will there be an archive for those who miss it?
A: YES! This year we will provide an archive for up to 7 days following ChaserCon 2010.

Q: What content will be streamed?
A: We will stream Pre-show coverage (interviews and stories) from the "mixer" on Friday evening. Live coverage takes place all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Any last minute changes of the agenda or the presentations will be posted on the official ChaserCon 2010 site.

Q: What will NOT be streamed?
A: Due to potential copyright issues, we will not be streaming Video Night. We also will not be streaming Tim Vasquez' Friday night forecasting class nor the NWS Spotter Training that takes place on Sunday afternoon.

Q: Have all the presenters given permission to stream?
A: SevereStudios, Inc. is the officially licensed streamer of ChaserCon 2010, therefore organizers have provided the clearance as part of the agreement.

Q: Why is the convention being streamed through SevereStudios.com?
A: The ChaserCon organizers have licensed SevereStudios.com to produce, direct and stream the convention in a Webcast format. As a major sponsor of ChaserCon 2010, SevereStudios is proud to be able to provide the live stream which will help to offset the costs of the convention.
