Tornado Warnings for Lawerence County in Illinois and Barton and Vernon Counties in Missouri.

9:45 PM CDT
Tornado Warning for Cherokee and Crawford Counties in Kansas and Barton and Jasper Counties in Missouro until 10:00 PM CDT. A Tormado has been reported with this storm at 9:32 PM CDT by Emergency managers.

9:25 PM CDT
At 9:17 PM an Emergency Manager reported a Tornado on the ground in Cherokee County Kansas near the city of Crestline. A Tornado Warning remains in effect for Cherokee, Crawford, Barton, and Jasper Counties until 10:00 PM CDT.

9:15 PM CDT
Tornado Warning for Cherokee, Crawford, Barton, and Jasper counties in Kansas. A funnel was reported by an Emergency Manager at 8:48 PM CDT.

8:45 PM CDT
Tornado Warning are in effect for Cherokee County in Kansas and Hancock, Seneca, and Wood Counties in Ohio. A Tornado was reported by Trained Weather Spotters at 9:33 PM EDT near the Town of Arcadia in Hancock County Ohio moving Northeasr at 76 MPH

7:45 PM CDT
Tornado warnings are in effect in Ohio, Illinois, And Missouri. A Tornadic Storm in Van Wert County Ohio is of special concern. At 8:33 PM EDT Trained Weather Spotters reported a Tornado on the ground 2 miles north of Van Wert. This storm has also produced numerous funnels and is also capable of 80 MPH winds.

Tornado Warnings continue to be in effect in Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, and now Ohio.
Storm Spotters have reported numerous funnels and extensive wind damage in Adams, Allen, and Wells Counties at 8:03 PM EDT. Also a Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for patrs of Central Indiana, Northwest Ohio, and Lake Erie until 1:00 AM CDT

A Tornado Warning has been issued for Missaukee and Roscommon Counties in Michigan and Jefferson and Washington Counties in Missouri.

6:45 PM CDT
Tornado Warnings are in effect for Polk and Washington counties in Missouri, Huntington and Wells Counties in Indiana.

Today has been very active across Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconson, and Indiana. Reports of Tornadoes and High Winds have caused damage across these regions. Some of the Preliminary Damage Reports have shown some homes destroyed, Numerous large trees down, power poles snapped, and buildings damaged. The SPC Preliminary Reports are still coming in so stay tuned for more information.

Tornado warning for Crawford and Washington counties in Missouri until 6:45 PM CDT.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning effective until 6:15 PM CDT for Clay, Effingham, and Jasper counties in Illinois.

4:55 PM CDT
The National Weather Service has issued another tornado warning for Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties in lower Michigan effective until 5:30 PM CDT.

4:41 PM CDT
The SPC has issued Tornado Watch #476 for a large portion of central Indiana effective until 11:00 PM CDT. This watch includes the Indianapolis metro area.

Tornado warnings now for Clinton and Arenac counties in northern lower Michigan until 5:00 PM CDT.

The severe weather has -- for the moment -- moved out of the St. Louis metro area. However, the severe threat continues throughout central Illinois. There are currently tornado warnings for Edgar, Douglas, and Coles counties in central Illinois until 5:15 PM CDT. This warning has been extended to Vermillion county in eastern Illinois, Vermillion county in western Indiana, and Parke, and Fountain counties in western Indiana. The warning now expires at 5:30 PM CDT

There are also tornado warnings for Bond, Clinton, Fayette, and Marion counties in Illinois until 5:30 PM CDT.

4:21 PM CDT
A new tornado warning has been issued for Barry, Calhoun, and Kalamazoo counties in lower Michigan until 5:00 PM CDT.

Also, the National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Wright county in south central Missouri. This tornado warning is in effect until 4:45 PM CDT. The town of Manes Missouri is in the path of this storm.

A new tornado warning has been issued for potions of central Illinois.

New storms appear to be developing in the South Bend Indiana area.

Storms are also firing back to the Southwest along the I-44 corridor back towards Springfield, MO, and even as far southwest as Tulsa, OK.

No warnings yet on any of those storms.

Meanwhile, Rob Dale has joined the hunt, and seems to be enroute to the tornado warned cell in northwestern Indiana.

In addition, we have a very serious situation developing in the St. Louis metro area. There have been multiple reports of funnel clouds in the St. Louis metro area. If you have family members in that area please give them a call and let them know about this serious developing situation.

Here are some images of the cell currently affecting Phelps county in Missouri. The first one is a traditional radar image. The darker oranges reds, and pinks represent higher reflectivity.

The second image is a storm relative velocity image that shows rotation in the storm. Notice the tight grouping of reds and greens.

A Tornado Warning is in effect for Phelps County in Missouri until 2:00 PM CDT. Law Enforcement has reported a Tornado on the ground near the City of Newberg.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch until 10:00 PM EDT for Northern Indiana, Lower Michigan, Northwest Ohio, Lake Erie, Lake Huron, and Lake Michigan.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune has published an article about the Hubbard county Minnesota tornados from this morning.

From the article:

Tornadoes in Hubbard County this morning destroyed several homes, damaged roofs, felled trees and pushed cars into the ditch, according to law enforcement and reports from the Storm Prediction Center.

The heaviest damage appeared to be east and north of Park Rapids where destruction one-half mile wide was reported just north of Hwy. 34 near County Road 4, the National Weather Service said.

Significant damage was reported in the Emmaville/Lake George area where homes were destroyed.

After a busy day yesterday, we've already got tornado warnings out for areas of Minnesota this morning.

AT 1001 AM CDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED A TORNADO. THE TORNADO WAS
LOCATED NEAR LAKE GEORGE...OR 19 MILES SOUTH OF BEMIDJI...MOVING TO
THE NORTH AT 24 MPH.

There are -- unfortunately -- already damage reports coming out of the area. Courtesy of an Allisonhouse.com local storm reports feed, local spotters are reporting damage to several houses in Emmaville, MN as well as unspecified damage in Park Rapids, MN.
