The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for parts of northern and central Illinois, northwest Indiana, southeast Wisconsin, and Lake Michigan until 1:00 AM CDT

Meanwhile, Tornado Warnings are in effect for Venango County in Pennsylvania and Beckham and Roger Mills Counties in Oklahoma.

Fire Department and Rescue reported a Tornado on the ground at 4:51 PM CDT near Elberon in Tama County Iowas.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Sever Thunderstrom Watch for parts Eastern Iowa, Northwest Illinois, and Southwest Wisconson until 11:00 PM CDT.

A possible Tornado that was reported by KCCI in Iowa has done some damage to a pole shed in the town of Ferguson in Marshall County Iowa. A Tornado Warnig remains in effect for Benton, Buchanan, Tama, Clarke, Madison, and Union Counties in Iowa.

Tornado Warning in effect for Marshall and Tama Counties in Iowa, Macomb County in Michigan, and Lee County in Florida.

Ben Holcomb is reporting a lot of tree and power line damage in Lansing, MI, including a large tree that fell on a house. Possible fatality.

The SPC has issued Severe Thunderstorm Watch #485 for portions of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin effective until 3:00 PM CDT.

9:43 AM CDT
Severe thunderstorm warnings are out for the linear storms in eastern Iowa, western Wisconsin, and Northwestern Illinois. The National Weather Service says that damaging winds in excess of 60 MPH can be expected with this line of storms.

The SPC has already issued Severe Thunderstorm watch #484 this morning. This watch covers most of central and southern Iowa. Expect thunderstorms to develop by late afternoon in a NE/SW line all along the front. The SPC is saying that wind and hail will be the primary threats, although they haven't ruled out tornadoes.
