5-22-2008 Hoxie, KS Tornado

We caught this tornado about 4 miles N of Hoxie, KS around 6pm. Came into the storm from the NE side as we were dodging cells heading S on 23 Hwy, trying to figure out which ones were tornadic, and which ones weren't, and this one definately was, and rather long lived. This was my brother in law Jason 2nd storm chase ever. Talk about lucky!

We would have streamed this tornado live, but our amplifier's power connection was bad and we weren't able to fix until the next day. Cobble stone streets, and bumpy dirt roads really taking a toll on the fire wire, and power connections.
