Six Dead After Wind and Flooding in Michigan

Six people lost their lives on Sunday after a third day of severe thunderstorms rocked central and southwest Michigan. SevereStudios Chaser Ben Holcomb was in Delta Township Sunday, west of Lansing, MI, where a woman was killed after a RV blew over on top of her. Two other deaths in Ottawa county near the lake shore were caused by trees falling. One fell on a car while it was in motion, the other fell on a woman while she was out walking.

Three other deaths can be attributed to flood waters. 2 people died in Allegan county on Sunday morning while delivering newspapers. The weight of the car collapsed the road and the car plunged 40 foot down a ravine. Both occupants died instantly. The final death occurred in Ottawa county after drowning in a ravine flood.

SevereStudios Chaser Ben Holcomb captured video and pictures from the event.

That sucks that people died on the west side of michigan. I live on the east side and I got hit from the storms and have no power right now and who knows when I will get it back. Just after the EAS went off for a tornado warning for Macomb county were I live the winds cranked up to over 60 mph and I lost power.
