Tropical Depression Edouard

The Last Advisory on Tropical Deppression Edouard

3:30 PM CDT
Tropical Storm Edward is now a Tropical Depression.

2:13 PM CDT
It looks as if the severe weather threat from Edouard has been less than what we saw with Dolly last month. But, the Houston area is getting quite a bit of heavy rain -- parts of the Houston metro are estimated to have recieved nearly 7 inches so far as you can see from this "Storm Total Rainfall" image captured just moments ago.

Radar estimated rainfall is sometimes a little higher than actual, but I think it's safe to say that the Houston metro is recieving much needed rainfall that will help alleviate the drought conditions that have been plaguing the area.
