Hanna Makes Landfall

According to the NHC, the center of Hanna made landfall along the SC/NC border at 3:20 AM CDT. Hanna moved quickly through eastern North Carolina this morning.

The latest National Hurricane Center advisory (5:00 PM EDT) has Hanna's winds at 50 MPH with pressure at 994mb.

WARNING INCLUDES PAMLICO AND ALBEMARLE SOUNDS, ALL OF CHESAPEAKE BAY, THE TIDAL POTOMAC, WASHINGTON D.C, DELAWARE BAY, NEW YORK HARBOR, LONG ISLAND SOUND, BLOCK ISLAND, MARTHA'S VINEYARD, AND NANTUCKET.
