It appears a fairly large severe weather event is in store as we close in on the days just after Christmas. Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th already have outlines in the Extended 4-8 Day Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center.

This appears to be a very strong storm system and SevereStudios plans to have chasers out covering this event. We will be monitoring this very closely as we get closer to the upcoming weekend.

To go along with this weather wise there is very little to speak of. There is a small chance of marginal hail for parts of southwest MO, western AR, eastern OK, and southeast KS. If this situation would warrant anything we will be sure to keep you updated!

Severe Weather continues across northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are currently in effect for Taney, Christian, and Stone counties in MO. Also a Severe Thunderstorm warning is in effect for Madison county in AR. Read more »

There is a Slight Risk of severe weather today for parts of the central and southern high plains. The main threats should come in the form of hail and gusty winds. Isolated tornadoes can't be ruled out. Stay tuned to local media outlets and Severe Studios for further information...

MDs have been put out for portions of Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado saying "hail will be likely". Severe Thunderstorm Warning is currently in effect for Garden,Grant,and Arthur counties in Central Nebraska.. stay tuned...
