Multiple rounds of severe weather are possible starting as early as Thursday.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued numerous Outlooks from Day 2 (Thursday) through Day 5 (Sunday). Details

It appears Kansas City could see 3 episodes of severe storms, both Thursday and Sunday, and possibly Saturday as well.

Des Moines has a chance for 2 rounds of storms, Saturday and Sunday. And Cincinatti could be dealing with severe weather on Friday and again on Sunday.

Here are the threats:

THURSDAY
Supercells with large hail for northeast OK, eastern KS, and northwest MO. Small chance of an isolated tornado or damaging wind gust.

FRIDAY
Large hail and damaging wind in the Ohio Valley. Isolated supercells with large hail and damaging wind. An isolated tornado possible.

SATURDAY
A large area of the Northern Plains and Upper Mississippi Valley will see a regional outbreak of severe storms. All modes of severe weather possible.

SUNDAY
A more widespread severe weather outbreak appears likely. Tornadoes, damaging wind, and hail will all be possible. Flash flooding will also be possible where storms "train" in a line and dump heavy rain on the same areas over and over. Check back for updates.
