Eglin Radar This Morning

Some of you may be as amused by this as I am *smiles*

Sequence of Events:

Wake up, turn 'puter on, fire up GRL3
Look *double take* and say, out loud, WHERE THE @#$# DID THIS COME FROM??!!!!! *wide awake now..without coffee even!*
Wait for next scan...now multiple TVSs (LOL!!!)
Jump up..WHERE'S MY CAMERA??!!! *grabs it*
PANTS!! WHERE ARE SOME PANTS??!!!!!!!!!!
*scurries to door while pulling pants up with camera in hand*
Open front door - immediately BLINDED by SUNLIGHT (OK..maybe I'm not as awake as I thought)
Go back in house, look at new scan...still 'storming' (SOMEONE TELL MOTHER NATURE!!)
Check Dothan...negative. Check Tallahassee....negative.
OK, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING OVER THERE AT EGLIN???!!
ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!

This pic is the second scan (14:35 utc) out of Eglin this morning. The scans went 'realtime' at 15:16 utc.

The interesting thing about this morning is that the scans looked an AWFUL LOT like the Oct 18th events (17-19 outbreak of '07). A training OOPS maybe??????? *shrugs*

And since I had the link up, I'll share it...one of my favorites during the spring and during hurricane season. Good one to bookmark.
