The 2010 National Storm Conference is set for Saturday, March 13, 2010, 9-5, at Colleyville Center in Colleyville, Texas. Colleyville is located just 5 minutes west of DFW Airport.

According to Martin Lisius, the main topic for the afternoon will be both interesting and dramatic.

The morning presentation will feature the annual Super Storm Spotter training session presented by legendary trainer Gary Woodall, now the NWS Metorologist-In-Charge (MIC) in Phoenix.

On Saturday, March 20, 2010, Douglas County Emergency Management will be putting on their 10th Annual Severe Weather Symposium to take place from 7:30am - 1:00pm at the Lawrence Arts Center in Lawrence, KS.

4 Guest Speakers from across the Midwest will put on as Presentation that day. Following those presentations, we have a Roundtable discussion where our 4 Guest Speakers, along with a select group of Local Meteorologist (Topeka, Kansas City, and Lawrence) will have the opportunity to field and address questions from the audience.

This year's presenters include:
