.

Us too!

That Flying J was where we stopped for the night during a rough drive we'd been having cross country in December and to hear they suffered damage is disheartening to us also. We were trying to find news on it and saw that same youtube video just before coming to your comment.

picture above

I already told you that my son was in that SRT truck above picture. It is a miracle that he got out alive. He is still not at home as the company refuses to pay for him to be checked out medecally and will not pay for his losses or per diam for his time before he gets home. Watch and see what trucking company declares bankruptcy next to keep from paying there bills.

Two of our trucks were

Two of our trucks were damaged at the J. One was in the fuel islands and the other was in the parking area. Both drivers road the storm out in the bunks. Both trailers were empty. The truck in the parking area got picked up and flipped on its side the driver was ok but his back got wrenched a bit. The guy in the fuel island got shoved sidways through on of the pumps and into another trailer. Thank God both drivers get to come home to drive another day. My prayers go out to all the people of Joplin and surrounding cities that got pounded by the 5/23 storms.

We stayed there the night

We stayed there the night before it hit & I told my husband there were too many bow echos in the storm & it was going to be a bad one. Thank the Lord we were headed due east. Only had to deal with strong winds & rain for 5 hrs. Been praying for all victims & that none of the great people we meet everyday were impacted too severely.
