Portions of North Carolina now under a Hurricane Watch

As Category 4 Hurricane Earl continues its northwesterly path toward the east coast, the National Hurricane Center has issued a Hurricane Watch from Surf City, NC north to the NC/VA border.
A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect from Cape Fear, NC to Surf City.
