The storms near Ben have weakened. Still Tornado Warnings to the west in AR and western MS.

Storm with major rotation now crossing into Prentiss County, MS. Law Enforcement reported a tornado on the ground around 6:00 PM.

Two strong supercells moving through Lafayette and Union Counties in Mississippi. Tornado Warnings are in effect.

Ben is getting east of Tennessee so he can make one last intercept attempt this evening. Tornado-Warned cell coming out of northern Mississippi.

The storms are crossing the Mississippi River and are taking aim on western Tennessee and northern Mississippi.

Tornado-producing storms continue in Arkansas. SevereStreamer Dennis Sherrod had a tornado on his Live ChaseCam about 40 minutes ago!

Tornado reports are coming in from south and east of Little Rock. Sheridan, Woodson, Keo, and Carlisle, AR have all had tornadoes in their vicinities.

Two supercells have formed in front of the line just south of Little Rock, AR. Two Tornado Warnings are in effect. Dennis Sherrod is near the area affected.

Two new Tornado Watches are in effect for portions of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

Tornado WARNINGS are in effect in Illinois, Missouri, and Texas. Tornadoes have been confirmed already this morning. Chasers are in the field and we have a few streams going at this hour.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed an area from Southern Illinois through Tennessee, Arkansas and parts of Mississippi under a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms today.
