There are currently two named storms in the Atlantic Basin: Hurricane Danielle, which is a Category 4, and Tropical Storm Earl.

Earl is forecast to become a major Hurricane by the middle of next week. Behind Earl is another wave which may become "Fiona" over the next day or so.

Earl's track takes it closer to the east coast of the United States than Danielle did, so will have to be watched closely.

We will have more frequent updates as needed, and be sure to check the Atlantic Tropical Info for details.
