6-5-2008 Brown County Tornado near Morrill, KSHere's the only shot we're able to catch of the better looking tornado near Morrill, KS. This shot was looking to our NW. It fully formed to the ground seconds later, but we're too busy staying ahead of the storm as we turned east to get a better shot of it. When we stopped to get out and film it, the second one hit us by suprise. So yeah, were just glad to be alive! Now that I'm taking a second look at this shot. My attention was focused on the darker tornado off to the right that also made ground contact. It appears to be a larger rain wrapped tornado on the ground to the left. What is everyone elses opinion on this? We immediately took a right turn after that photo was taken, and my focus was mainly keeping the vehicle on the road. I think the outer darker tornado was a satellite tornado wrapping around the larger one...

We are watching!
Chris,
In case you're wondering, there ARE people watching your cam! A friend of mine emailed me a link to this site last Thursday (6-6). I noticed that you were in our area, so I kept tabs on you all that evening. When the sirens went off in Sabetha, you were just 2 miles south of town. The pic we saw from your cam was ominous (but cool). We headed to the basement for a while. Then followed you as you headed east. I wasn't on when you caught the tornado in Brown County, though.
My friend that sent me the link told me yesterday that he and his family were watching, too. Keep up the good work!

Thank You!
Thanks Doug! Streaming from the field is something new for alot of us, and by all means it's not perfect, but I'm working on constantly trying to make it better. My main cam is down at the moment due to bad 4 pin fire wire connection that is internal at camera. All the bumps and vibrations from about 20k miles this year has taken its toll. I am taking the cam to a buddy today, and see if he can fix it. I am still filming with this standard def, and a high def camera, all I need is some down time to get images uploaded to my site.
Thanks for watching, and I do appreciate knowing that someone enjoys it!
