Tornado Warning for Lyon and Murray Counties, MN. Kevin Haney is shooting down US-59 towards US-14 to intercept this cell. The best rotation is just south of Russell as seen on the KMPX and KFSD radars.

Tornado Warning for Lyon County in Minnesota. SevereStudios Supporting Member Kevin Haney is out chasing! Unfortunately he does not have his video up and ready as this cell popped up quickly. Already experienced nickel to golfball-size hail with the cell.

1987 - Thunderstorms deluged the Central Gulf Coast States with torrential rains. Thunderstorms in Mississippi drenched Marion County with up to 15 inches of rain during the morning hours, with 12.2 inches reported at Columbia. Floodwaters swept cars away in the Lakeview subdivision of Columbia when the the Lakeview Dam broke. Flash flooding caused more than three million dollars damage in Marion County.
