Wildland Fire Near Loveland, CO

Some video taken while streaming a wildland fire just west of Loveland, CO on September 12, 2010. Fire started after a private burn got out of control. As of 9-14-10, it is 20% contained with 925 acres burned. 2 houses and several vehicles/trailers were lost. No deaths but one firefighter received minor injuries. Fire is currently under a Type I Incident Command. Red flag warning will probably be issued 9-15-10 so hopefully, they will have substantial containment by days end 9-14-10.

As of 9-16-10 at 7p MDT, the fire is now 100% contained. The final acreage consumed is going to be around 750 acres. The Type I command will transition back to local jusrisdiction (Type III) and federal firefighting resources released.
