An outbreak of severe weather possible today...

Another busy day in the Midwest as tornadoes, large hail, and damaging wind are likely.
The highest tornado threat exists across eastern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and extreme northeast Iowa. Public Severe Weather Outlook
Damaging wind becomes likely late this evening and overnight.

spc says another weather watch likely to cover all of southern new england,its hot with dews in the low 70s,im waiting.
roger hill on inside edition tonight 7-15
I noticed that roger and his wife will be on inside edition at 7pm eastern
I live in plover
and the outflow from the north storm flew south and then stopped...now we have clouds going northward and southwesterly here...it may still happen esp. with it being close to 90 in madison and a 71 dewpoint the outflow may really crank it up in awhile!!

back in june i had the 10percent outline for tornadoes and not one formed in the 10 % area it was laughable
yeah bman I thought the same
or how we are in a 15% for tornadoes...the town of eagle was only in a 5% risk when they got hit...it's been 3-5 yrs since we've had this good of a risk...I'm almost certainly going out BUT the watch is only till 7pm
60 percent area for wind damage!
I have never seen the spc go above 45% for wind central wisconsin has 60% today,wow damaging winds anyone,if you don't see a tornado,chances are great for damaging wind.
the only problem is
a serious cap..the area of showers by rochester has been trying to build all morning w/ no luck at all!!!

I am not sure I wanna get my hopes up..I have seen more times than I can count a scenario like this only to be a total bust...I'll be heading west from central Wis. after 5 pm so we'll see....

Looking forward to an interesting day today here in SE MN. It is raunchy out there this morning. VERY humid and strong winds. I'm not a chaser (wish I was) but you can tell somethings beginning to cook today and the water is starting to boil. Good luck today.
