Severe Weather Experience
Severe Weather Chaser: Three or more years experience in chasing. Frequently chase severe storms.
Biography

I have been chasing storms for 15 years. Up until recently I was pretty old school, chasing with a weather radio, scanner, and cell phone radar (after about 2001). I've had my chase footage broadcast on WKRN-TV(ABC), WSMV-TV(NBC), and WTVF-TV(CBS) in Nashville TN. I have also done full length spotlight interviews for NewsChannel5+ (Cable) and live reporting on WKRN-TV, WKDF-FM, and WAXO-TV (Lewisburg, TN).

My full time occupation is Manager, US Postal Service. I volunteer for Wilson County Emergency Management Agency and was honorably discharged from the TN Air National Guard where I was an Aeromedical Tech (Flight Crew) in 2005. I am also a member of Davidson County TN ARES/SKYWARN call sign KJ4CPT. My training includes: SKYWARN basic and advanced, CERT, FEMA IS-100,200,700,800, Vanessa K Free Act Certified (TN Emergency Vehicle Driver Cert), and Technician class amateur radio license.

I also own and operate a website that supports and funds my chase team - Tennesseewx.com
