Severe Weather Experience: Severe Weather Enthusiast: An individual who enjoys watching or discussing severe weather. No formal training or experience.
Biography: I drove a big truck over the road for about 8 years and was around severe weather all the time driving through tornado alley, and along the gulf and east coasts during hurricane season. I -- of course -- didn't chase in the truck. Actually, in one of those the proper term is run away... Anyway, since retiring from driving truck I enjoy watching it from the safety of my home on the web via TV coverage and radar. I'm also beggining to try my hand at forecasting where these events will take place. Not for anyone other than myself mind you. It's just a new challenge / hobby that I've decided to try.
