Severe Weather Spotter: Attend yearly NWS SKYWARN or other Spotter training sessions. Occassionally spot or chase storms.

Biography

I became facinated with thunderstorms at an early age, but became a storm spotter in 1996 after attending basic and advanced SKYWARN training sessions given by the NWS. I joined the local SKYWARN spotter group and continued spotting and attending training most years since. I am a very active spotter and have witnessed several funnels and tornadoes along with some other facinating weather. I have recently began attempts at filming my experiences. I am also an amateur radio operator and public safety official. My other hobbies include video editing/production, computers, and outdoor activities.
