Biography

Studied Earth Science/Climatology/Ecology. Been through quite a few storms in remote areas of the Northern Midwest. Including 100 plus MPH straight-line winds, viewed 3 Tornadoes, 5 funnels, 2 to 3 inch Hail Storm (while in a remote area)- weather watching and study has been a professional necessity and personal hobby. I believe the Chicago area forecaster's are "asleep at the wheel" when it comes to 'going live' with severe weather updates as demonstrated twice (so far) in 2008. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
