About

I work in the Transmission Division of AEP SWEPCO in Protection and Control. I install, test, calibrate, repair, and troubleshoot the systems and equipment used in electrical substations that get the power from the powerplants to your house. Although its not the career I expected, I enjoy every single minute of it.

Otherwise, I am a storm chaser and have chased a little over six years now, logging over 500k miles thus far and expect that number to grow. I have a strong rooted passion for the weather that came from seeing the damage and destruction first hand as a 5 year old kid. Since then I devote much of my spare time and resources researching and absorbing as much information as possible. Learning from some of the most veteran chasers, and being part of a great team adds to the passion.

I am very interested in radio theory and its application to meteorology, specifically the application of radar. If you know me for very long you know that most of my money goes to experimenting through trial and error with various setups. Some guys have hunting, some fishing, I have radar.

I am a very laid-back simple person, and try to find the right balance in between my inborn country nature and my passion for technology. I have great friends family in my life that mean the world to me, and I love to meet new people. Anything else you want to know just ask!
