About

21 one years ago (1989) I began flying hot air balloons at which time I be came a
commercial flight instructor causing me to be active in meteorology do to the
fact that we will live or die by the weather during our flights. Shortly
thereafter in 1990 I began working in and with the meteorologist at KJRH TV2
Tulsa (Meteorologist Mike Anderson) and quickly became one of Mike's lead storm
chaser. I remained with Mike until his retirement, I continued to work with the
chief Dan Threlkeld however, it never was the same. I then began freelance
chasing for both Frank Mitchell at KTUL, John Slater at Fox 23 and Travis Meyers at KOTV, until my move four years ago to Northwest Arkansas, at which time I continued my relationship with the two Tulsa stations as I do to this day, I have also was a chaser for two and a half years with Dan Skoff at KNWA and Fox 24. I am now back in Tulsa to be closer to my family and chasing for both severestudios.com and KOTV Channel 6 in Tulsa.
I am a very experienced chaser understanding the need to; get the shot, get the
information to inform the public, as well as communicate to our stations and the
National Weather Service, while at the same time keeping myself and any team
members with me safe while performing our duties.
I sincerely love chasing with severestudios.com and the people I work with and hope to see you all viewing our live streams.
