About

After the yearly NWS spotter training, I feel more comfortable with storm spotting and relaying that information to the National Weather Service and news organizations.

I started my broadcast career announcing for KMIT and KOOL98 in Mitchell, SD. While going to Mitchell Technical Institute I announced a brief stint at KXRB and KIKN in Sioux Falls. After graduating with satellite communications degree, I moved to Shrewsbury, MA to work for New England Satellite. I later accepted a promotion and I moved to Frederick, MD to mobile uplink for CBS, ABC, NBC, Weather Channel, CNN, and Fox News (mainly in Washington D.C.).

After 9/11, I moved back to South Dakota to continue education at South Dakota State University. Upon graduating, I accepted a sales and announcing position at Brookings Radio.

After all of that, I'm very glad to now call KELOLAND-TV my home! I'm currently an account executive for KELO-TV and offer my spotter assistance to SevereStudios.com, the KELOLAND Weather Department, and viewers like you.

I'm excited to learn more from the industry experts and help keep the public safe from severe weather.
