I have always been instrested in severe weather ever since I could remember while growing up. We had a major tornado outbreak after Hurricane Rita made landfall. That day we watched as seven different tornadoes come within 5-8 miles of my house with supercells that were training one another. (This was awesome!) I was just amazed and decided I wasn't close enough so I got in my car to get a bit closer so I could get a better look.(Keep in mind I had attened many spotter classes previous to this). After that I was hooked. Now any chance I get to chase I grab my cameras and gear and head out. Also I am getting my basic classes out of the way to set the stage to attend Oklahoma (OU) and get my masters degree in Meteorology. I have attended many Skywarn classes and I'm a member of SpotterNetwork. I have also developed a good relationship with the local meterologists (Media) in our area.I will be comming to the plains this spring(2011) for the first time. Hope to see you there!
