Moved to the USA from England, UK last Spring (2008), so I am just beginning my chasing "career". I chose "Severe Wx enthusiast" from the drop down menu, as I havent been in the USA long enough to choose the 3 years or more stormchaser option. However, I have attended Skywarn Spotter training, and hold a certificate from Spotter Network NSR training.

My passion for severe weather began in 1987, when a huge windstorm battered the SE coast of England, with winds up to 115mph. That was my first encounter with extreme weather, as in England, extreme weather is a rarity.

I am currently seeking to undertake a meteorology degree here in the USA, hopefully in Spring 2010, if all goes to plan.
