I'm a 40 yr old life long Michigan resident with a wife and 2 small children.

I was a member of the Mobile Communications Support Unit (MCSU) for an Oakland County city from 1996-2002. Responsible for severe weather response (down wires, flooding, traffic control) among other surveillance activities. I am licensed to monitor police bands in a motor vehicle in the state of Michigan.

Currently I am a Operations Manager for a apparel company in Oakland County. Responsible for the safety of 35 employees and a 40,000 sf distribution facility.

I have always been interested in weather and storms in particular. I use GRLevel3 to track weather across the nation. I've been a SKYWARN spotter since 2007.

I have been using Severe Studios since January 2008 and have met some very nice people in the chat rooms. I respect the paths each of you chose and hope to be able to help in some small way to contribute to such a wonderful community.
