I have always been fascinated by extreme weather. We had a tornado touch down in our town and as an EMT I was able to see the devistation first hand. Luckily there were no death and only 1 house destroyed.
My son is very interested as well and considering becoming a meteorologist or a storm chaser. We are hoping to take the Skywarn class offered here every year.
