There have been a few questions about our new video player in the Live ChaseCam Network. Our new player is based on Silverlight by Microsoft. It is similar to Flash in it's nature, but works with our current streaming system. This provides a better playback experience, including the ability to buffer videos when a connection is lost for a moment. For our streamers, it provides better security for their copyrighted video.

To download and install Microsoft Silverlight: Go Here

The Live ChaseCam Network remains free and you can watch any Storm Chaser that is streaming video. If you have Microsoft Silverlight, you are good to go. For troubleshooting Silverlight, please see Microsoft's website.

Silverlight works with PC/Windows format and the MacOS/Apple format. For Linux users, please download Moonlight. Moonlight Download Site

With these plugins, everyone should be able to view the new Live ChaseCam Network!

winter return
