A Warmer November?

October has brought freezing temperatures and even accumulating snow to parts of the Upper Midwest and Northeast. Many have been left wondering if Winter is here to stay.

The latest guidance from the Climate Prediction Center shows a good shot at above average temperatures across the nation for the month of November.

This is welcomed news especially for those in places like North Dakota and northern Minnesota. Some areas there saw 6-12″ of snow just last week!

Most of us don’t need to break out the winter parkas just yet, but this recent cold snap is a good reminder that Winter is indeed coming! Clean up the fall leaves and get any last minute winterizing done while the temperatures are still bearable.
