ArkLaTex Enhanced Severe Weather Risk

There is an Enhanced Risk of severe storms this afternoon and evening in parts of east Texas, south Arkansas, and north Louisiana. This includes Shreveport, LA, Texarkana, TX, and Texarkana, AR.

The primary concern with thunderstorms developing later today will be the threat for damaging wind gusts. Isolated large hail and a few tornadoes will be possible as well. The greatest risk for tornadoes is in extreme east Texas and northwest Louisiana.
