High Plains Severe Threat

There is an Enhanced Risk for severe weather today in parts of the High Plains. This includes Scottsbluff, NE, Sterling, CO, and Torrington, WY.

All modes of severe weather will be possible with storms that develop later today, including the risk for damaging wind gusts, very large hail, and even a few tornadoes.

The greatest risk for tornadoes will be in the Nebraska panhandle south into far northeastern Colorado.
